第11個島 - Ithaca 伊薩基島

#希臘伊奧尼亞群島之一，有3646個居民的小島，據說是荷馬史詩中的英雄奧德修斯的故鄉。

#荷馬史詩奧德賽講述的正是奧德修斯在特洛伊戰爭後返回家鄉伊薩卡的故事。

Famous all over the world as the mythical island of Odysseus, Ithaca is probably the most remarkable island of Greek mythology! This lush green island is surrounded by crystal water and has wonderful coves around its coastline.

 

 

 
The Monastery of Panagia Kathariotissa, located on top of a mount with breathtaking view to the Ionian Sea, is the main sightseeing in Ithaca.
 
 
 
 
Vathy, Kioni, and Frikes are the most picturesque villages in Ithaca. What’s interesting about these villages is that they have managed to keep their traditional identity despite the touristic development. Vathy, in particular, is the island’s center of activities
 
 
 
Vathy is the capital and main port of the island. The traditional houses, the paved streets and the picturesque harbor create a nice place to relax.
 
 
 
 
 
The medieval village of Anogi, Loizos Cave and Katharon Monastery are some of the must-visit places in Ithaca island.
