第5個島 - Nisyros 尼西羅斯島

站在地球活火山口。感受獨特大自然

該島的火山口長3至4公里，於150,000年成形，火山目前處於活動狀態，但未爆發，在火山口可發現噴氣孔。目前有4次歷史性噴發，最近的噴發活動是1888年蒸汽爆炸。

The island is popular for the famous Nisyros volcano, the youngest volcano in Greece, which is still active. Except for its unique geology, it also has some picturesque little villages. Especially Mandraki and Nikia villages stand out for their traditional architecture and terrific views.

Church of Panagia Spiliani | The name of this Monastery means "Virgin Mary of the Cave". It was probably built in the 15th century and hosts many ecclesiastical relics inside.

Nisyros is a beautiful little island, which belongs to the Dodecanese island chain. Still untouched by mass tourism, Nisiros one of those peaceful and laid-back Greek islands. It has emerged as a great alternative destination.

As for Nisyros beaches, they are clean and peaceful, ideal for those who want to enjoy long relaxing days by the sea! For those of a non-beachy disposition, there are many activities to do on the island, such as island hopping to the nearby Kos

Venetian Castle | This Castle is also known as the Castle of Panagia Spiliani. It was probably built in the 14th century by the Knights of Saint John and gives a great view of the island.

Nisyros island is shaping up to be one of the hottest alternative destinations in Greece. The trademark and main pole of attraction of the island is Nisyros volcano, which is located in the center of the island. This is the youngest volcano in Greece, as it is only(!) 160,000 years old and it is still active. In fact, it is one of the four active volcanoes in Greece, together with those of Santorini, Methana and Milos.
